Invert Your Meals
Typically the last meal of the day can be one of the biggest or the one with the most calories. And coincidentally, it’s during the time of day when you can’t work out to burn any of it off.
So, instead of having that situation, why not “invert” your meals. Just so we’re clear, we’re not necessarily talking about having steak and baked potatoes for breakfast and eggs and bacon for dinner (even though it would be quite alright to do so).
We’re talking more along the lines of calorie consumption. Meaning, eat your largest (or highest calories) meal in the morning, eat your second largest meal in the afternoon, and your smallest meal in the evening.
In other words, you eat your first big meal like a king, your second big meal like a prince, and your third big meal like a pauper.
By using meal inversion, it will give you enough time throughout the day to work out and burn the calories that you’ve consumed.
Why Tip#7 can help you lose weight fast:
By inverting your meals, it fires up your metabolism and gets it going.
When you consume the majority of your calories in the earlier part of the day, you have the opportunity with your daily activities to burn those calories. Also, you’ll be less likely to overeat throughout the day. And, by the time you eat your last meal, it will be at a time when your metabolism has slowed down so you will not have consumed a lot of calories.
And depending on when you exercise, meal inversion can have an even greater impact on your weight loss program, especially if you workout in the evening.
